Christmas and New Year Photos

Christmas Eve, Just driven with Pop in the bus from Featherston to Masterton. Grin on Hamish's face was fantastic.

Hamish was very happy with his first ride in Pops bus. When we told him that he could have a ride in the bus once we got to Featherston, he wanted us to pull over on the Hill so he could get into the bus then and there!. It didn't seem to matter to him that there wasn't any room to pull over!!!
Getting settled into camping.

Oliver having his first sleep camping outside under the trees due to the heat.

Chilling out and rolling around the mat outside.

Christmas Eve, with Santa sacks and milk, biscuit and carrots for Santa Claus and the reindeer! Of course the carrots had to be picked from Pops garden before we left the Hutt Valley.

Christmas morning about 6am!! Santa Claus did find Hamish and Oliver so the map Hamish drew before we left home must have been understood.

One of many presents from Santa, Hamish received was this Mickey Mouse Club House Movie. Hamish informed us that Mrs Claus did a great job choosing his presents and wrapping them, for Santa who only delivers them!

Oliver getting into the spirit of Christmas, just checking out how they tasted first.

Daddy reading a book Oliver got

The left overs that Santa and the reindeer's left behind. The reindeer's had made a real mess on the bus floor and just outside the bus with little bits of chewed carrot. They were obviously full from all the treats other children left behind.

Oliver in his new Christmas outfit thanks Colleen, Maurice and Sarah.

One of Oliver's many cheeky grins.

Getting ready to open all the other presents.

Hamish was a little disappointed that Nannie didn't have a large Christmas Tree! and he wasn't that impressed with the substitute tree! but he did get over it. (gold tree on the right hand side of photo!)

Oliver waiting to be given his presents.

Hamish just loved the pirate outfit that Nannie and Pop gave him. He had to try it on straight away.

And found a substitute feather sword!! Great use of the coat hanger!

We went through to Barry's sisters place in Ballance for Christmas dinner, for another round of food and presents.

Unwrapping a present from Nana and Grandad.

What is it?

A ukulele. Thanks Nana and Grandad.

A Cousin photo but Oliver, Jasmine and Amber missing. Looking forward to Taupo.

First time Hamish has ever sat on a horse.

Oliver pulling a Christmas cracker with Pop.

Hamish and Barry found these very friendly deer while in Masterton

We spent a couple of nights in Palmerston at Nana and Grandads place just before New Year.
Hamish is going to have to compete with Oliver to take turns on the ride on tractor.

Hamish made a flower sauce and used his new cool watering can that Auntie Jennifer and Uncle Eion gave him.
